Acoustic anti-intrusions barrier
The acoustic barrier was designed and developed by CO.L.MAR. for WASS (Whited Alenia Sistemi Subacquei), which holds the rights, with the aim of protecting ports and installations from surface or underwater intrusions / attacks.

Made up of six sensors placed on the sea floor and connected to an onshore control unit is easy to install and is highly reliable even in adverse environmental conditions. The acoustic barrier guarantees the protection of a specific area (eg the entrance of a harbor) by giving an alarm when an intrusion is detected, such as the passage of a vessel or a diver, through the area "observed".
Used as a first line of harbour defence can be integrated with other classification systems and countermeasure. The number of sensors can be extended up to a maximum of 20-30 units thanks to fibre optic Ethernet connection and the possibility of transmitting on three frequencies with the appropriate timing. It can be installed at depths from 7-8 up to a maximum of 60 meters.
