Hydrophone & Projector TD0720

Hydrophone projector TD0720

This model is a general purpose hydrophone / projector, suitable for a wide range of applications. As a transmitter TD0720 offers a large bandwidth around the resonance frequency of 25 kHz, very low electrical input-impedance, high sensitivity and high power output. In reception, the high sensitivity and the very high capacitance allow the use of long connecting cables without the need of pre-amplifier.

Features

• Omnidirectional, general purpose hydrophone
• Wide frequency transmission band, high power underwater sound source
• Suited for transponders and pingers or acoustic data transmission
• High sensitivity, high capacitance, sound source suitable for tank and free field calibrations
• Sensitivity unaffected by hydrostatic pressure down to the recommended depth
• Custom cable lenght and connector type
