Underwater noise monitoring & assessment

Underwater noise pollution can have adverse effects on marine organisms: sources of noise can be different, such as dredges, speed boats and pile driving.

Pile driving is commonly used in the construction of foundations for docks, bridges, wind turbines, and offshore oil and gas platforms: its impact produces a loud, impulse sound that can propagate through the water and substrate.

Thanks to our underwater sound recording equipment, we have developed our proprietary hardware and software for the acquisition and processing of the different data.

In fact working on measurements with underwater sounds requires great attention to data processing and interpretation
